A 3.30 inspection this afternoon will determine if racing can go ahead at Ballinrobe tomorrow.

The card was originally scheduled for today but due to the wet ground conditions the track executive were granted permission yesterday morning to postpone the meeting.

Looking ahead to the Curragh on Sunday, Aidan O'Brien is still pondering as to which of his classic hopefuls will take part in the Group Three Gladness Stakes.

The Ballydoyle trainer has three left in the race including the Prix Morny winner Orpen and the unbeaten Black Rock Desert. Both colts are prominent in the 2,000 Guineas betting. Alexfield is the other O'Brien horse left in the Gladness.

One Ballydoyle classic hopeful who will race on Sunday, however, is the filly Pink Coral, fourth to Juvenia in Longchamp's Prix Marcel Boussac last October. O'Brien described her as a likely runner in the April Fillies Race.

Last year's Tetrarch winner Two-Twenty-Two will take his chance in the Gladness though.

A spokesman for trainer Dermot Weld said yesterday: "He has been working nicely, won't mind soft ground and will give a good account of himself. But there are some good horses in it who will be getting weight."

Ramooz is a possible challenger from Britain and Mark Johnston will choose from the older horses White Heart or Gaelic Storm.
