With a clean disciplinary slate behind him, £7 million bad-boy John Hartson can now start planning for the new campaign - but it remains to be seen if his future is still at Wimbledon.
The controversial 25-year-old Welsh international escaped his latest brush with authority with just a £5,000 fine and a warning after he pleaded guilty to a Football Association charge of misconduct.
It is the fourth time he has been fined on a similar charge, the most high-profile of which was the £20,000 fine and three match-ban he received after a training ground attack on former West Ham team-mate Eyal Berkovic in October 1998.
Meanwhile, former West Ham team-mates MarcVivien Foe and John Moncur were each fined for their part in the ugly after-match scenes following the London derby defeat by Arsenal on May 2.
Foe, who has since moved to Lyon, was fined £8,000 while Moncur was fined £1,000.
