IRELAND'S Sammy Allen, bidding to become the first man to win a full set of World bowls gold medals - singles, pairs, triples and fours - stayed in the winning groove in the championships in Adelaide, Australia, yesterday.
Allen, who skipped 21 year old Jeremy Henry to win the pairs title on Sunday, launched his singles campaign in style, sweeping aside Brazil's Patrick Knight 24-10 and Zambia's Jacob Van Deventer 25-15.
