The Eircom football All Stars 2000 defeated their 1999 counterparts 9-14 to 5-16 in yesterday's entertaining exhibition match before a large crowd at the Exiles Ground in Dubai.

Due to soaring temperatures the 13-a-side match was played over three 20-minute periods.

Highlights of the match are being shown next Monday on TG4's Ard San Aer at 10.25 p.m.

Tomorrow the station features a new documentary by Pat Comer - former Galway goalkeeper and director of the award-winning A Year Till Sunday, the account of his county's 1998 All-Ireland success.

Cogar, at 9.25 p.m. covers a day in the life of Micheal O Muircheartaigh, shot at last year's All-Ireland hurling final. Earlier (2.20 p.m.), All-Ireland Gold features the 1990 All-Irelands football final.
