Martyn Turner writes: There's a really nice book I keep lending people. Sometimes I just leave it in the spare room if there are people visiting. We have lost quite a few friends this way. It is called 23 Things They Don't Tell You About Capitalism and is written by a Cambridge University economist called Ha-Joon Chang. Not from Kerry then. No, Korea (South). It's very good and very readable. Short chapters, amusing anecdotes, available on Amazon in paperback and used. Of course, as I have been busy lending it out for the past five years I can't remember if Trickle Down and Trickle Up is one of the 23 things. They used to say "A rising tide lifts all boats". True. But how many of us own boats? (Clinging to the wreckage doesn't count) .
