On the subject of Modern Art, Dorothy Walker (January 18th) provides a selection of "last words" appropriate for engraving above the portals of the IMMA. Might I suggest the following extract? "Go in there to see what is going on, to trust in the artists good faith. .. and... to leave the heart open to being lifted.
