Madam, – I was amazed at the extraordinary difficulty people are experiencing in getting an NCT (Motors, April 14th). From next year it will be even worse, when all cars 10 years old or more will be subject to an annual test. We would do well to copy the UK system where all garages do the equivalent MOT and one can drive in and have it done while you wait. – Yours, etc,
