Sir, - Some few years ago I purchased in a Dublin HiFi store an appliance, which when connected to my T.V. receiver, enabled my next door neighbour to receive the programme which I was viewing on my set. Of course, if I switched to another channel, or switched off my receiver, my neighbour's set followed suit. I understand that the process worked by means of induction.
I wonder I. Did I require a transmission licence? 2. Was I acting illegally?
The apparatus is still available in at least one shop in Dublin. - Yours, etc.,
