Madam, – It is not loose talk, but loose action which has cost jobs (Bob Strunz, June 3rd).
No amount of loose talk will matter one whit at this stage. Hard cash is what matters: how much the Government collects and spends, how much the banks are able to borrow and lend out.
It's nauseating to listen to this "green jersey" mentality. The Irish Timesis better than this. – Yours, etc,
