A chara, - The parents of the girls attending Holy Cross primary school face an impossible decision regarding their most precious responsibility, the welfare of their children.
If they allow the children to walk to school by the normal route, the girls are forced to run a gauntlet of sectarian chants, spit, bottles, rocks and blast bombs. If they go to school through the back entrance, the girls will learn a harsh lesson at a very tender age: that they are second-class citizens in their home city, forced to give way to bigots and supremacists.
Either route will have serious long-term consequences, for all of us. - Is mise,
