Sir, – There is no need for water meters if we use what we already have in abundance . . . trash.
Why doesn’t the Government use waste incinerators to create power for generators which would, in turn, power desalination plants? Then use the desalination process to separate salt from the seawater, and store the left-over salt for icy days and the fresh water for household use?
This would get rid us of trash, produce electricity, provide drinking water and give enough salt every winter to keep the roads clear. – Yours, etc,
