Madam, – A mnemonic is a memory aid which helps us to remember longer names. With a good mnemonic, the shortened version gives some indication of the full title. An example would be the Dart which stands for Dublin Area Rapid Transport.
With this in mind, may I suggest that a good mnemonic for the Government jet would be “Politicians’ Rapid Air Transport System” (Prats), which fits the bill on all counts. Furthermore, if this is considered to long, the P could be dropped without reducing its appropriateness. – Yours, etc,
