Sir, The announcement of the Light Rail Transit System for Tallaght has indeed been generally welcomed and the recent exhibition in the Square drew a huge response.
It is important, however that the Government would understand the needs of the people regarding these proposals and another look must be taken at the line for Tallaght.
It makes no sense not to include West Tallaght, the Village and other areas of the town, and we call on the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications, Mr Lowry, to have the proposals re examined and include these areas. Yours, etc., (Councillor) Town Centre, Tallaght, Dublin 24.
