Sir, - Following Monday's bombs, it was with some reassurance that I heard Albert Reynolds's comments on RTE Radio One. For the first time, I listened to someone with an air of purpose and direction on the issue. Perhaps, even at this late stage, it may be possible to salvage something before we drift to. the abyss.
Could the Government or Fianna Fail find some way of getting Mr Reynolds to head the Irish Government's approach to the issue? He is the only person on the domestic political landscape capable of achievement. - Yours, etc.,
