Sir, - I think it's about time that cyclists were requested to act responsibly as far as lights are concerned. Every morning and evening loads of them, young and old, put themselves in danger on dark roads. Not only that, they put the heart crosswise in a lot of motorists.
I was reading in "Times Past" (January 13th) that in 1937 the writer was wondering if bicycles in the future would be registered and taxed. I wonder what the consensus of opinion would be now, 60 years later! - Yours, etc.,
