Sir, – With reference to Conor Pope’s article on banks wrestling with customer relations (Price Watch, July 25th), when will the banks decide to load their ATMs with different denominations of notes? If one wants €200, one gets four €50 notes. Then when one wants to change the €50 note in the bank, it causes a problem if one’s account in not in that branch.
In Spain, one can request in what denomination one wants the notes to be dispensed. – Yours, etc,
