Sir, - Your November 15th edition carried a small piece entitled: "Orangeman to report on bias". The Grand Orange Lodge of Ireland is asking members for evidence of discrimination and intimidation against Protestants, with a view to compiling a report for bodies such as Amnesty International.
In an attempt to proceed along the positive highway of trust, perhaps the Orange Order could delete from its constitution the following rule: "That any member of the Orange Institution found frequenting Roman Catholic public houses is guilty of conduct unbecoming an Orangeman, and a charge to that effect may be brought against him and dealt with according to our laws."
