Sir, - Kieran Healy's letter (April 13th) by omitting a key phrase, completely distorts the letter of Father Tom Ingoldsby (April 8th). "It is all important that a second chance be given for the issue to be fought (Divorce Referendum) without the scandalous conduct of the Government spending unconstitutionally large sums of taxpayers' money."
It was this scandalous spending, condemned by the Supreme Court, that won the referendum by the tiniest majority: totally unfair, undemocratic and should be put right. - Yours, etc.,
