Sir, - The Town Hall in Rathmines was built in 1897. It is now the location for Rathmines Senior College where 600 full-time students and over 1,000 part-time students attend a range of courses.
To celebrate the centenary of this historic building and to commemorate the township of Rathmines, which was founded in 1847, an exhibition of photographs and memorabilia is being prepared. This will go on public display in the Town Hall for a week in October 1997.
