Sir, - It would indeed be nice, to have a rail link between Dublin Airport and the city centre. However, I'm sorry to say that Dublin: is only one of many European capitals without such a link.
S. Ua Conchubhair (December 30th) points out that Moscow, Reykjavik, Oslo and Bonn do not have airport rail links. In case anyone should quibble about Bonn's status as a capital city, Berlin (Tegel) did not have a rail link the last time I was there (but that was a few years ago).
Copenhagen, Lisbon and Stockholm (Arlanda) do not have airport to city rail links. Neither did Prague, Rome (Fiumicino) or Warsaw when I last visited them. - Yours, etc.
