Madam, – In responding to a call for a second “Tallaght strategy”, the thrust of Enda Kenny’s response (Home News, October 2nd) was that, while Alan Dukes had acted in the national interest at the time of Tallaght 1, Mr Kenny would be putting his party before his country.
At a time when the State faces a financial crisis of extraordinary scale, why do we all consider it acceptable that a political leader would adopt such a position? – Yours, etc,
