Sir, – Fianna Fáil has proposed legislation to cut “exorbitant” pensions paid to “State-covered” bankers who played their part in the economic collapse of the state over the last five years (Home News, November 21st).
Presumably, the party would have no issue with those who facilitated the banks, and who have combined pensions of over €100,000, taking a cut from their exorbitant pensions, namely Bertie, Brian and co? – Yours, etc,
