Madam, – Annually I have suggested that political posters be restricted to fit-for-purpose billboards, with the random erection of political posters made illegal, and with political parties being named, shamed and fined if their electioneers contravene the restriction. This measure is clearly required on safety and environmental protection grounds.

When is something going to be done about it? – Yours, etc,
