Madam, – The poster Don Reilly spotted is at least matched by Prionsias De Rossa’s continued appeal for a vote in the European elections in Bayside, Dublin 13. Needless to say the majority of poles in the area still sport the ubiquitous plastic cable ties. All candidates should have their taxpayer-funded election expenses withheld until all such ties are removed and properly disposed of. – Yours, etc,
Madam, – A Sinn Féin poster was removed from North Wall Quay in the IFSC, 53 days after the elections. It took Dublin City Council a full 14 days to respond to my request to have the poster removed, which doesn’t inspire confidence in our city’s litter management services. – Yours, etc,
