A Chara, - During a recent visit to the University of Limerick I was immensely impressed with the development that has been achieved. The impact of the mature landscaping is explained by the forethought of early planting. The complex of buildings is likewise impressive. The furnishing of the interior displays a lively interest in the arts. The Concert Hall accommodating about a thousand people, is a visual delight.

The driving force behind this effort is the President of the College, Edward Walsh, truly a Renaissance Man. We need a person of attainment and achievement to be our next President in succession to Mary Robinson. Edward Walsh is such a person.
