Sir, - " `I am the bread of life . . . and the bread that I shall give for the life of the world is my flesh.' Many of his disciples, when they heard it said, `This is a hard saying; who can listen to it?' . . . After this many of his disciples drew back and no longer went about with him." (John 6:4866).
It is good to see how some of our religious leaders have the courage to follow Our Lord's example in speaking out the truth on something as sacred as the Eucharist in spite of the inevitable backlash of those who do not understand. Truth is necessary for true understanding. - Yours, etc.,
