Sir, - The level of mischievousness to which The Irish Times descends on occasion is highly irritating. Not only are you happy to publish a silly letter from Father David O'Hanlon (April 8th) - knowing full well what it would provoke - but then you line up this intemperate priest to spill out more of his dislike of Mary Robinson by way of justifying himself - using up two thirds of page nine of Saturday's (April 19th) Irish Times in the process!
A little more self discipline and a little less calculated manipulation of the letters page to boost circulation would be welcome. - Yours, etc.,
