Madam, - At last! Vincent Browne (Opinion, January 4th) has put the political question worthy of debate in our democracy: in a civilised society, what ought to be the income differential between the wealthy and the poor - or, indeed, the average?
Incidentally, Mr Browne's examples of high incomes were a long way short of the ludicrous salaries often reported. - Yours, etc,
