Sir, - If corporate donations to politicians are banned in future, can we look forward to a lowering of the cost of living?
On the basis that any expenditure incurred by a commercial enterprise eventually finds its way back to the customer in higher prices, can we expect lower house prices when developers no longer pay out large sums of money to get their planning applications passed?
Or does this follow? - Yours, etc.,
Shirley L. Piggins, Westport, Co Mayo.
