Madam, - Am I the only person to raise my voice in objection to the proposal to pay a monetary incentive to sitting TDs to vacate local authority seats (The Irish Times, February 18th)? The Celtic Tiger is now extinct and, with unemployment rising, I think such a move would be a disgrace! -
