Sir, - One must admire and applaud Trevor Sargent's personal resolution to use Irish whenever he speaks in Dail Eireann from September 29th. However, I feel that his support in this forum for our native language would be really meaningful if he resolved to make Irish the first language of the Green Party/Comhaontas Glas at home and in Europe.
Surely here the Green Party has a platform to raise a new consciousness in the media and public mind for its policies, acquire a unified voice in the process, and give a new meaning to lip service. - Is mise,
