Sir, - Mention of Drumcree, or any other place where an act of worship is held, reminds me of the painfully challenging words of Archbishop William Temple in his Basic Convictions (Hamish Hamilton, 1937): "If when you come out from your worship there is no more love in your heart than there was when you began, then either your worship was a humbug or else it was not directed to the true God. If it is an opening of your heart to the God of love, then there will be more love in your heart as you go out into the world." - Yours, etc., Arthur Bateman,
Stillorgan, Co Dublin.
