Orange Order At Drumcree

Sir, - The murder of three children in Ballymoney on Sunday last is a new low, even by Northern Ireland standards

Sir, - The murder of three children in Ballymoney on Sunday last is a new low, even by Northern Ireland standards. The Portadown Lodge's subsequent statement that the murders were "nothing to do with them" shows an arrogant disregard for the loss of three innocent lives. The Orangemen created the atmosphere for these brutal slayings to take place. The fact that the boys died while the impasse in Drumcree went on is no coincidence.

For these people to remain in Drumcree after this awful tragedy shows the true nature of this organisation. Their lack of respect and basic human decency in not returning to their homes is deeply saddening. What kind of future can Ulster have while evil reigns in so many hearts? - Yours, etc., Brian Kelly,

Susan Terrace,
