Sir, - Congratulations to Kevin Myers on his article about the Nora Wall case (An Irishman's Diary, July 31st). There is indeed a witch-hunt in this country against the Catholic Church. Your newspaper has played a major role.
It is now time to recognise the great contribution the Catholic Church has made to Irish society in many areas, viz. child care, education, health and care of the poor, etc. - Yours, etc.,
