Sir, - To mark its 20th anniversary, the New Ireland Group is holding a short, one-day open seminar in the Mansion House, Dublin on Saturday, October 20th at 10.30 a.m.
During this seminar the group wishes to explore some of the issues which should be addressed if the people of Ireland are to live at peace with each other and in a state of well-being in the generations to come.
As with the gathering which we held earlier this year in Dublin, members of the public will be welcome to join in the discussions. In particular, we would like to learn from young people what they feel is important to their generation.
We shall be presenting a number of propositions and would hope as a result of discussion to have these refined and expanded. Subsequently, we hope to publish the outcome of the day's deliberations. - Yours, etc.,
