Sir, - It seems to me that there is a simple solution to the taxi problem. If taxi drivers they go on strike they will be in breach of their taxi licences in refusing to provide a service. Their licences could be taken away for not providing the service they are obliged to provide. We could then reissue these licences to a brand new batch of drivers for a nominal fee and start afresh without having to listen to the same tired old arguments from the incumbent lobby. - yours, etc.,
