Madam, - As an animal lover and opponent of bloodsports, I wish to register my protest at the lioness head and skin trophy displayed on page 2 of your Property Section last Thursday to illustrate the article about Desmond Desmond's house in Merrion Square.
Such a reminder of man's tyrannical dominion over wild life and the slaughter of a magnificient, noble creature is unacceptable in our time and in terrible taste. - Yours, etc.,
