Sir, - I was surprised to read Superquinn's claims that, in response to customer demand, it would be the "first" supermarket in Ireland to re-list T-bone steaks and other beef on the bone (The Irish Times, December 23rd).
This claim is very wide of the mark, as any Tesco Ireland customer will confirm. Tesco Ireland responded to consumer demands on this issue well over a year ago - and has been selling plenty of quality Irish beef on the bone ever since. - Yours, etc., Liam Forsyth,
