Sir, - Not for the first time a Saturday evening visit to St Stephen's Green brought to my attention litter bins full to capacity. It is a pity that an area of the city frequented by many tourists has, apparently, no provision for litter collection to match the usage encouraged by good weather.
Natives and tourists alike should not be distracted from the normally attractive surroundings by a failure to ensure timely litter collection. - Yours, etc.,
