Sir, I am a 12 year old boy living in Delgany, but I was born in Lisburn in the North of Ireland. I was really sad when the bomb went off in the army barracks, so I decided to write a poem.

The laughing children in the street are no longer,

Instead a man with a gun rules my town.

The happy men who worked their lives away in the old mill it's gone,

Blown away, by the man with the gun.

The birds are no anger singing, it is the gun that is ringing,

The whole way through my old town, 710 more happy shoppers,

People live in fear of the man with the gun,

The bombs they are ringing.

Across my old town lies a path of destruction by the man with the gun.
