Sir, - On a recent visit to Dublin I paid a visit to Bull Island beach, a place with fond childhood memories for me. In the 1950s, Bull Island beach was clean and litter free. Alas, this is not the case today. The proliferation of used plastic containers, condoms and paper throughout the area is a disgrace.
