Sir, – My children in Chicago were lucky enough to receive a popular inflatable toy for Christmas, as did my niece in Portlaoise. The cost to fill the toy with helium in a party supplies shop in Chicago was $0.69, or about €0.53 (or 53 cent). The cost to fill the toy in Portlaoise was €10.
