Madam, – I am a postgraduate researching Mary Devenport O’Neill (1879-1967), poet and wife of senior civil servant Joseph O’Neill (Seosamh Ó Néill), both from Co Galway. In the 1920s and 1930s they held a weekly literary salon at their home in Rathgar, attended by prominent figures including WB Yeats, Osborn Bergin and AE.
