Sir, - It seems that during the Munster final replay there was some pushing and shoving involving a Clare player, Colin Lynch.
The incident came up for consideration by the Munster Council and a three-month suspension has been imposed.
In the course of his disapproving comments on the suspension, the Clare team manager referred to the Lynch family "who have suffered a night of trauma tonight that no family in this country has ever had to endure to my memory."
