Madam, - What a fine piece of analysis from Paul Cullen in Thursday's edition. He sums up precisely the shambles created by Harney and Drumm. Well done.
Ironically, above this piece, is an excellent picture by Matt Kavanagh in which Prof Drumm looks as if he is praying. He should be. He may be a tool of Minister Harney's grand plan of setting up the HSE but he is supposed to be its cutting edge and his is a blunt scalpel indeed..
Both Ms Harney and Prof Drumm should go. They have failed. It is as simple as that. Let Prof Drumm do what he is good at - practising his speciality of children's medicine. As for Ms Harney, Shakespeare said something about vaulting ambition. Let her away to the back benches.
