Sir, - Councillor John Hussey is looking forward to England returning various bits of "stolen" property like a Spanish Rock, Greek marbles and six Irish counties. What plans has the councillor for the Irish to return land that they have cheerfully "stolen" from the natives of Argentina, North America, Australia, New Zealand and other places?

Or is it as usual that what is sauce for the goose is definitely not sauce for the gander. We can be as colonial, albeit on a smaller scale, as those whom we criticise! - Yours, etc.,
