Strategically place one small tin of paint – well stirred, lid off – in the ATM. Total cost per ATM €4 approximately. When the ATM is unceremoniously dislodged and tumbles out, the tin of paint will spill over, destroying the cash, rendering it unusable.
This will save the bank millions and discourage this type of theft. It will also bring a new meaning to the term, show us the colour of your money.
