Sir, - I am becoming increasingly concerned at the spread of giant hogweed (Heracleum mantegazzianum) in north Dublin, particularly around, Kinsealy and Portmarnock. This plant can cause a painful rash, and even disfigurement, when it comes in contact with human skin.
