Sir, - In the context of the GAA Annual Congress and Rule 21, the recent death of Rosemary Nelson and the disturbing facts concerning the reluctance of some RUC officers to fully co-operate with an official inquiry into related matters are worth noting.
As time passes it is slowly but surely emerging that the more astute observers of the political situation in the Six Counties are the members of the GAA who, at their special congress last year, decided to remove Rule 21 when the situation in the North merits such change, as envisaged in the Belfast Agreement. - Is mise,
Sean O hAodha Bothar Cnoc na Carraige, Port Mearnog, Co Atha Cliath.
