Sir, - Rev Brian McGee (April 4th) supports the Archbishop of Armagh's position on eulogies at church services on the grounds that "they can be a source of division, embarrassment and annoyance". Surely there is enough evidence to support a claim that the priest's right to make a sermon during mass should be banned on the same grounds.
